Goode news!
Remember Virgil Goode? He's the good ol'boy who went ballistic when Keith Ellison, a black Muslim, was elected to represent the fifth Congressional District of Minnesota in 2006. Goode fumed that Ellison should be prevented from taking his seat, and proudly joined Glenn Dreck and other extreme-right bloviators in denouncing Ellison as an enemy of the state.
Will, karma eventually caught up with Goode; he has lost his seat to a Democrat. I'm happy for him - he will no longer have to suffer the ordeal of sharing the Congressional chamber with a Muslim. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Virgie boy!
