No More Mr. Nice Guy!

You can't make this stuff up...

John McCain announced his choice of Sarah Palin as running mate at - wait for it - the Nutter Center.

While most people are still saying, "Sarah Who?", her background is gradually being filled in - and the more we find out about her, the more she looks like a Stepford Wife who is totally out of her depth. Apart from the ethics  scandals in which she's mired, Palin is the polar opposite of Hillary Clinton in every conceivable way - she's anti-choice (even when the woman's life is in danger), anti-gay, anti-environment and anti-science. The idea that she can woo Hillary supporters is laughable. And in view of McCain's advanced years and poor health, the very strong possibility that she would have to serve out most of his term is scary. As I said before, the whole stunt reeks of panic and desperation.
