She's baaaaaack...
Oh gawd - why won't that bloody woman go away?
At best, this is pure pettiness and attention craving on Hillary Clinton's part, seeking to tarnish Barack Obama's well deserved victory. At worst, this could be a trojan horse to disrupt the convention and steal the nomination. In which case, we'd better get ready for a third Bush term.
Go away, Hillary! Just go away!

Rose wrote 8/14 3:46pm in reply to Original article: "bloody woman" isn't sexist to me, but its not a phrase we use in states. You could just as well say "bloody man", could you not? At first I didn't particularly like Hillary, then I started to...and now I'm back where I began. It doesn't come off as fighting 'til the end, like she'd like people to believe. Instead, it makes her seem like a childish sore loser. (Reply) | |
No More Mr. Nice Guy! wrote 8/14 4:45pm in reply to Ben: I was using "bloody" in the British sense - as I've blogged about before, over the last few months I've come to have the same reaction to Hillary Clinton as I used to have to Margaret Thatcher. Part of what turns me off about her is her "vote for me because I'm a woman, and if you don't, you're sexist" spiel. The fact that she was prepared to hand the election to McCain out of spite, knowing he would be horrific for women's rights, surely gives the lie to her claims of being the female Messiah.
