It's hard to keep a good man down, and even harder to keep down a miscreant, a hypocrite and a coward. Yes, everyone's favorite bathroom-haunting creep Larry Craig is said to be on the verge of retracting his resignation. Even Michael Medved is going, WTF?

Craig is the turd that won't flush down the toilet the first time, and has to be flushed again. But in a way, I want him to fight to keep his Senate seat. He is keeping rethug sleaze and hypocrisy in the headlines, and if he stays in the Senate he will be ineffective, his judgment will constantly be questioned, and even the voters of blood-red Idaho are likely to get sick of him and his hypocritical ilk, especially when they have an excellent alternative like Democrat Larry LaRocco.

Will Craig be spending more time with strangers in bathrooms in the near future? This should be fun to watch!
