Train-wreck TV

George Bush Junior is such a gibbering demented moron, it's painful to watch him, and downright embarrassing to recall that he is the most powerful man on earth. Did you see the clip form his news conference that the
Daily Show played? It was so surreal, so cringe-inducing, that you may have thought it was staged with actors. Alas, it's all too true - it's right there on the White House website for the world to see.
We talked about the Middle East... We talked about Iraq... We talked about Afghanistan... We talked about the broader Middle East. We talked about the need for us to continually support democratic movements... We talked about terrorism. We talked about visas. We talked about the need to continue to share information... We talked about Iran... We talked about our collaborative efforts in Darfur... We talked about our economies... we talked about how we can work together to make sure that the world trades more freely and more fairly for the sake of our -- for the sake of our peoples...

And I was going to say he's a piece of work, but that might not translate too well. Is that all right, if I call you a "piece of work"? (Laughter.)

Adam, I think about Iraq every day -- every single day... And so, you know, I think about this every day, every single day, and will continue thinking about it.

Q Mr. President, many in Europe --

PRESIDENT BUSH: You're offending people here, we got two other --
Aaaaargh!!!! I'm ashamed to be of the same species as this drooling little simpleton. Why doesn't he just stay on his ranch in Crawford, and stop trying to play a president on TV? He's a national embarrassment and disgrace.
